The Space Traveller’s Lover – Alien Invasion

Ten thousand years ago, an alien race was driven from Earth by ancient humans. Now they have returned to Earth fueled by a zest for revenge while plundering Earth’s remaining resources.  And at the end of the 21st century, droughts and floods have left Earth on the brink of collapse, with limited resources and habitable land.

Who will save the Earth then?

Answer this question as you turn the pages of “The Space Traveller’s Lover”, a book written by Omara Williams. This is a sci-fi adventure about Erin, a bright young student living on the remote island of Tinian with her adoptive parents, who eventually discovers her ancestry on her 16th birthday.

How would one take the news that an alien’s blood runs within their veins? Erin always finds herself dreaming the same dream before the invasion. Inside that dream, her encounter with a mysterious figure in golden armour leaves her disoriented and trembling in desperation to survive.

“Who is this man I’m about to reach and then vanishes?”

In the novel, the main characters will be involved in a fatal attraction between a human and an alien. Here, Omara explores the themes that have always fascinated her since she was young—love and science.

“How powerful can love be? In my book, I wanted to explore the impossible love,” she says

The Space Traveller’s Lover – LOVE IS ALL IT TAKES

Ten thousand years ago, an alien race was driven from Earth by ancient humans. They have returned to Earth using perfect human replicas to understand and eventually control the human mind. Stronger, invincible, immortal, and with a technical superiority beyond comprehension, the aliens are fuelled by a zest for revenge while plundering Earth’s remaining resources.

The aliens have remodelled themselves into a genetically superior race and removed any feelings or emotions they consider a weakness. They don’t feel fear, guilt or remorse, and most importantly, they never fall in love.

Rothwen, a headstrong and ruthless alien soldier, develops an intense obsession with Erin, a bright young human student with a mysterious past. He decides to bring Erin into his world, changing all the invasion plans to be with her, just for his pleasure.

Once Erin is with the aliens, she discovers their immense destructive powers.

While the aliens promise the Humans that they have come peacefully, Erin suspects that not all is as it seems.

Erin’s future and that of planet Earth depend on her next actions. She often wonders where her loyalty lies. Is it with the humans or the aliens? Even though she has now been transformed into the alien’s race, her feelings and memories are still human.

Will she stay with her best friend from childhood who loves her deeply? Or will she stay with the ruthless alien soldier who shows no mercy? Will she be able to overturn the aliens’ destructive plans?

As the twin suns your life begins anew

The Space Traveller’s Lover – DREAMS BECOME REALITY

The Space Traveller’s Lover begins within the recurring dream of our protagonist, Erin, where she is running through a futuristic marble corridor leading to the wide expanse of a multicoloured ocean. It is strangely beautiful, yet somehow familiar to Erin as her dream ends in the way it always does — with her being unable to reach a mysterious stranger watching her from a distance.

Outside of her wild dreams, Erin is the adopted child of the well-known Lobart family living on a tropical island called Tinian, going to school and working at her family’s successful Tuna Farm. She leads a completely mundane life, carefree and unaware of the unearthly qualities she possesses that both draw attention and unnerve those in the presence of her gifted mind and large purple eyes. Mundane that is — until she decides to finally follow a mysterious orange light she has been seeing more and more often, coming from the dangerous caves of a nearby island …

The Space Traveller’s Lover Review by Adeline

I read sci-fi fiction fantasies often, and I’m so glad to have come across this book! The first thing that caught my attention was the attractive cover; it is so beautifully designed that it literally lured me to dive deeper into the book.

This book is segregated into five parts and has 39 chapters, and each chapter starts with a beautiful quote.
Though the book is long, it’s a fast-paced read and thus, not even for once did any sign of monotony crop up.

The story is about a girl named Erin Lobart who lives on a remote island and does her best to contribute to the betterment of society. She, with her new parents, is joining hands with rescue teams to convey food and medication and look after the distressed when droughts and floods have left Earth on the brink of collapse, with limited resources and habitable land. But a big surprise lies in wait for her, and she will get to know about it on her sixteenth birthday celebration, and she and her lover Sam will make a frightening disclosure on that day.
To know about it, you must hurry up and grab the book as soon as possible.

The plot is not only captivating but also extremely fascinating, making the readers stay hooked to the book until the end.
The way the story flows smoothly and the plot unfolds gradually will make you feel like you are watching a movie.

The book has been beautifully written with easy vocabulary.
The detailing in character building is praiseworthy and the narration style is exceedingly refreshing.

The story is addictive with the right balance between sci-fi and fantasy.
This is a book that is easily devoured. The pages turn, and before you know it, you’ve finished the book!

Overall, I enjoyed this great book and thus, I highly recommend this book to all reading nerds, especially those who love stories from out of the box.

The Space Traveller’s Lover – Review by Ethan King, Crown Books NYC

Omara Williams did an excellent job of introducing readers to her world. It is not a standard fiction book with a predictable plot. The author did an AMAZING job with the beginning, transporting readers to a realm that no one has ever imagined! It was a difficult choice for all of us because it led us to the conclusion of subjectively questioning ourselves, such as if we should save ourselves or the one we love. The way she sets out the dilemma at the start of the book tells readers how to make sensible decisions.

This is a topnotch book that even a bestselling author would purchase. Let’s give this debut a way and a road to success! The book will surely captivate the gen-z, millennials, and young at heart for it shows how to make the right decision in life and never get blinded as what love can do at the early stages of life.

Now pick it up and start reading because I’ve heard the author is working on the sequel. Yes, you read that correctly. It’s a collection.

The Space Traveller’s Lover – Review by Nancy Jacob

The first three words that come to my mind when I read the book title are science fiction, dystopia, and romance. Undoubtedly, a sense of adventure creeps in while I navigate the synopsis and look at that enticing cover design. The story is set in the last years of the twenty-first century. It is bad news, and the picture is very grim. Bearing the brunt of droughts, floods, and severe weather conditions, planet Earth has run out of resources. Civilization is almost on the brink of extinction; this scenario paints a typical dystopian narrative. Matters are getting out of hand.

It is in extreme situations where a story shines. Erin lives on a remote island and does her best to contribute to the betterment of society. She and her adoptive parents partner with rescue teams to provide aid and look after the distressed. A big surprise lies in wait for her. The presence of elements of space travel and an alien entity is made clear from the book title. How this is incorporated into the narrative has rarely been done before. We are talking about aliens roaming on earth taking the human form in the guise of clones. Now, that is exciting!

There is a hidden message that gives the reader a chance to understand the repercussions of what exploiting nature’s resources could lead to. Stories such as these play a crucial role in raising awareness. It calls to action the need to take measures to mitigate the damage already done and prevent it from snowballing into a disaster as painted in this story. In this war of resources, the author also hints at the involvement of technology. Are we, as a race, so intent on innovation that we forget to take care of the planet that gave us life?

The Space Traveller’s Lover – Reviews by Books for Badal

The Space Traveller’s Lover: The book which I’m going to suggest you folks today is an exceptionally captivating and extremely fascinating book.

The substance of this book will make you go for this book and you can not move past this anyplace soon.

The storytelling is captivating. It is the end of the twenty-first 100 years. Dry spells and floods have left Earth near the edge of breakdown, with restricted assets and tenable land. Erin Lobart, a splendid youthful understudy, living on the far off island of Tinian with her new parents, is joining forces with salvage groups to convey food and medication that is scarcely keeping civilisation above water.

On her sixteenth birthday celebration, Erin and her dearest companion, Sam, make a frightening disclosure. A long time back, an extraterrestrial society was driven from Earth by ancient people. Presently they have gotten back to Earth utilising ideal human copies to comprehend and control the human psyche. More grounded, strong, unfading, and with a specialised predominance incomprehensible, the Rom-Ghenshar are fuelled by a zing for vengeance while looting Earth’s leftover assets. As Erin understands her life is definitely connected to the outsiders and that she is Earth’s just opportunity for endurance, she battles to choose where her faithfulness lies. In any case, as she is going to learn, just her newly discovered love can decide her fate and that of humankind.

Everyone can read this book; the stories will definitely interest the young readers and the avid readers. The characters will leave a long-lasting impression on your head. You’ll enjoy the backdrop.

THIS IS A MUST-READ.

Written very carefully, this book is something that will be a delight to read, and I absolutely recommend you to read it. This book is definitely worth the purchase and worth the read.

The Space Traveller’s Lover – Second Interview

Q. AT WHAT POINT DO YOU THINK SOMEONE SHOULD CALL THEMSELVES A WRITER?

The moment you finish your first story or article, however short, you can call yourself a writer.

Q. WHAT DIFFERENCE DO YOU SEE BETWEEN A WRITER AND AN AUTHOR?

An author is a published writer conveying his ideas and stories. A writer writes not only about his opinion but also describes facts and relates news stories.

Q. HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED WRITING UNDER A PSEUDONYM, AND WHY OR WHY NOT?

I have never considered writing under a pseudonym. I have no reason for it.

Q. WHAT DO THE WORDS “WRITER’S BLOCK” MEAN TO YOU?

Writer’s block is like ending on a cul-de-sac in the journey of your thoughts. The ideas stop flowing, and you can’t make progress in your story. The way to avoid it is to write whatever comes to your mind, even if it doesn’t make much sense at that point. The more you write, the more you unblock your thoughts.

Q. HOW DO YOU PROCESS AND DEAL WITH NEGATIVE BOOK REVIEWS?

Every person that gives a review is their opinion that doesn’t necessarily coincide with everyone else. From a negative review, I take what I can improve.
